Statement Covid-19 Corona virus

The current situation with the spread of the Covid 19 virus has an impact on us all. We now see the effects of the different actions and measures taken worldwide to try to reduce the contagion of the Covid-19 virus.

As of today, Märkas has no identified Corona virus cases, but we have an increased sick leave on both the administration and production side.  We are doing our utmost to deliver your products with as little disturbances as possible in the given situation. On the administration side the lead-time for order confirmations can be longer. We will do our best to provide you with necessary information as early as possible.

Our suppliers are reporting longer lead-times on their supplies to us. There is an increasing demand in certain segments, and deliveries cross-borders take longer. However, our suppliers report that measures are taken to reduce delivery time.

The situation is changing from day to day and is for time being unpredictable. By sharing information between us we will both reduce our uncertainties. We therefore kindly ask you to place your orders as early as possible to help us in our planning and production. In return, we will inform you as early as possible about any delays or deviations in our activities.
