Märkas is a specialist in complete solutions for labels and application equipment. Our head office is located in Åstorp, Sweden and from there we deliver products to around 50 countries around the world. In addition to our head office in Åstorp, we have sales offices in Södertälje, Sundsvall, and Norway. We have a turnover of approximately SEK 165 million and 75 employees, all working to create communication that sticks – both on surfaces and in your mind. The future is important to us and therefore we want to exceed our stakeholders’ requirements for quality, environment and hygiene according to several selected standards. We continuously work to develop and improve our operating system and processes. Annual internal and external audits provide important input for our improvement work. We are constantly working to reduce our environmental impact by optimising material usage, minimising waste and mapping our energy use.
CERTIFICATIONS
We expect our customers to place high demands on our label solutions and processes. As part of our work to strengthen our competitiveness, efficiency and improvement work, we are certified according to SS-EN ISO 9001 and SS-EN ISO 14001, two standards that also form the basis of our operations. To further strengthen these aspects, we made the decision to meet the requirements of the IATF 16949 for the automotive segment. Here you will find our certifications.
