Fast scanning of many products with Märkas' RFID labels
RFID labels are a convenient solution that is hailed by e-commerce companies and postal service providers around the world. Märkas provides the smart label and can deliver it to you no matter where you are.
RFID, short for Radio Frequency Identification, is a technical solution that saves information in a tag that can be scanned from a distance. You’ve probably encountered RFID tags in your everyday life, because it’s a common solution in bus cards, access cards and as anti-theft tags in stores. We at Märkas are proud of providing these smart solutions with all associated equipment needed to print and scan RFID labels. In recent years, the technology has evolved at a rapid pace and even tiny tags can contain huge amounts of information. For e-commerce companies and mail providers, RFID labels have quickly become indispensable to meet today’s logistics challenges. The labels help companies to track and identify products quickly and reliably. It’s easy to track the package from warehouse to delivery, for the person who has ordered it, the supplier and the distributor. Märkas has close cooperation with the postal company Bring, which, among other things, delivers letters, parcels and goods in the Nordic countries. HOW RFID WORKS
The RFID tag sends a signal with an ID number or similar information. The signal is received by a special scanner, which then finds the corresponding information in a database. The scanner doesn’t need to see the label to scan the information. The amount of information and the distance at which it can be scanned differ depending on how advanced the RFID solution is. Advanced RFID tags can communicate at longer distances, such as from a container in a port.
