Swedish wood that makes a mark in the world
Setra Group produces and sells wood products. Since 2003, the company’s eight sawmills, three processing units and 800 employees have exported Swedish wood to Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia. The large packages of timber are rough and subjected to severe stress when transported to the rest of the world. Variations in temperature and humidity put great demands on the labelling and identification of timber packages that require easy scanning from a truck.

For several years, we at Märkas have supplied printers, printer ribbons and labels to Setra Group. All our solutions are tailored to cope with the harsh environment to which Setra’s wood products are subject, both during storage and transport. All products are thoroughly tested before delivery. In this way, we can ensure that the label sticks and is as readable when it reaches its final destination as when the package was shipped.
